In today’s digital era, a deeper understanding of human behavior has become increasingly important. Digital transformation has reshaped the way people communicate, work, and interact, while also influencing mental health on a global scale. Although digitalization has brought significant benefits, it has also introduced new challenges to psychological well-being. Excessive use of digital media can contribute to a range of mental health issues, including stress, anxiety, and depression.

Recognizing these challenges, Telkom University is committed to preparing future professionals who not only possess a strong foundation in psychology but are also equipped to address the psychological issues emerging from technological advancements. As both traditional and digital media continue to shape human perception and behavior, the rapid growth of the internet and social media has made their psychological impact increasingly significant.

The Bachelor of Psychology Study Program offers specialized concentrations in Digital Well-being Psychology and Industrial and Media Psychology. These areas of focus are designed to prepare graduates to meet the challenges of the digital era by developing competencies in technology-enabled human resource management, digital counseling and psychological support, community-based psychological intervention, and the administration of psychological testing, assessment, and intervention using digital technologies and media.

The program also seeks to promote greater public awareness of mental health and help reduce the stigma associated with psychological disorders. Beyond producing highly competent psychology professionals, the program is committed to fostering positive social change. Through high-quality education, innovation, and a forward-looking curriculum, Telkom University aspires to become a leader in digital psychology while making meaningful contributions to the mental well-being of communities in Indonesia and around the world.
