Registration Process

We welcome applications from students across the world. Our admissions process is designed to be straight forward with clear requirements, defined timelines, and a team available to guide you through every step.

Eligibility
Applicants must be non-Indonesian citizens.
Applicants must be no older than 25 years old for Bachelor’s Degree programs.
Applicants must be no older than 35 years old for Master’s Degree programs.
Applicants must have completed the previous level of education required for the program they are applying to.

Application Procedures

Please follow the steps below in order. Make sure to complete each step carefully to ensure a smooth application procees

Create an account in the admission system.

Select the application category: Degree Program or Joint/Double Degree Program.

Complete all required personal information.

4

Complete all required family information.

5

Complete all required educational background information.

Upload all required documents according to the selected program and level of study.

7

Review all submitted information and ensure that the data and documents are complete 8. and correct.

Print the Participant Card as proof of application registration.

Upload Required Documents

Applicants are required to prepare and submit the following documents according to the level of study they are applying for. Please note that all documents must be in English or translated to English.

  1. Scan of the relevant pages of the passport.
  2. Scan of passport-sized photographs with a red background.
  3. Personal Statement or Motivation Letter explaining the applicant’s vision and reasons for applying to Telkom University, written in 1–2 pages of A4 paper. Accepted file formats: PDF, DOC, DOCX, and JPEG.
  4. Statement of Compliance with Rules and Non-Employment.
  5. Senior high school certificate.
  6. Senior high school academic transcripts.

Master Degree

  1. Scan of the relevant pages of the passport.
  2. Scan of passport-sized photographs with a red background.
  3. Personal Statement or Motivation Letter explaining the applicant’s vision and reasons for applying to Telkom University, written in 1–2 pages of A4 paper. Accepted file formats: PDF, DOC, DOCX, and JPEG.
  4. Statement of Compliance with Rules and Non-Employment.
  5. Undergraduate degree certificate.
  6. Undergraduate academic transcripts.
  7. Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  8. Reference letter from the applicant’s previous University or workplace.
  9. Thesis Plan.
  10. English Proficiency documents.

Doctoral Degree

  1. Scan of the relevant pages of the passport.
  2. Scan of passport-sized photographs with a red background.
  3. Personal Statement or Motivation Letter explaining the applicant’s vision and reasons for applying to Telkom University, written in 1–2 pages of A4 paper. Accepted file formats: PDF, DOC, DOCX, and JPEG.
  4. Statement of Compliance with Rules and Non-Employment.
  5. Undergraduate degree certificate and transcripts.
  6. Master degree certificate and academic transcripts.
  7. Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  8. Reference letter from the applicant’s previous University or workplace.
  9. Thesis Plan.
  10. English Proficiency documents.
  11. Approval letter from the prospective Promoter and Co-Promoter.
  12. Commitment letter to complete the required residency period.
  13. Permission letter from the applicant’s employer or institution, if the applicant is currently employed.

Bachelor

  1. Academic transcripts.
  2. English Proficiency documents.
  3. Nomination letter from home university.

Master Degree

  1. Undergraduate degree certificate and transcripts.
  2. Master academic transcripts.
  3. Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  4. Thesis Plan.
  5. English Proficiency documents.

Post-Application Process

After completing the online application, applicants will go through several selection and admission stages. These stages are designed to assess the applicant’s academic qualifications, motivation, readiness, and suitability for the selected program at Telkom University.
The post-application process includes the following stages:

  1. Online Test
    Applicants may be required to take an online test as part of the selection process. The test aims to evaluate the applicant’s academic potential and readiness to pursue the selected program.
    For applicants applying to Engineering Programs, the online test will generally cover Physics, Mathematics, English, and Academic Potential Test.
    For applicants applying to Non-Engineering Programs, the online test will generally cover English and Academic Potential Test.
  2. Interview Session 
    Applicants who pass the online test will be invited to attend an interview session with the International Admissions Team and the relevant Study Program. For Doctoral Degree applicants, the interview may also involve the prospective Promoter and/or Co-Promoter. The interview is conducted to further assess the applicant’s academic background, motivation, communication skills, study plan, research interests, and overall readiness to study at Telkom University.
  3. Admission Announcement
    After the selection process is completed, the admission result will be announced through the applicants register account and the applicant’s registered email. Applicants are advised to regularly check their admission account and email for updates.
  4. Confirmation Period
    Applicants who are accepted are required to confirm their intention to enroll within the specified confirmation period. This confirmation is important to secure their place in the program and to proceed to the next administrative stages.

After Confirmation

Applicants who have confirmed their attendance will continue to the preparation stages before officially starting their study at Telkom University. These stages are intended to ensure that international students understand the university regulations, immigration requirements, and arrival procedures.

  1. One-on-One Meeting with the International Admissions Team
    Confirmed students will have a one-on-one meeting with the International Admissions Team. During this session, students will receive detailed information regarding academic regulations, international student obligations, other important rules and procedures that apply to international students at Telkom University.
  2. Permit Information Session
    Students will be invited to attend a Permit Information Session as preparation for the study and immigration permit process. This session will provide guidance on the required documents, study permit application, visa procedures, KITAS process, and other post-arrival administrative requirements.
  3. Pre-Arrival Preparation
    Before arriving in Indonesia, students will receive guidance related to their arrival preparation, including travel arrangements, housing information, airport arrival, transportation options, health and safety preparation, and important contacts at Telkom University.

 

Through these stages, Telkom University aims to ensure that all admitted international students are well-informed, well-prepared, and ready to begin their academic journey in Indonesia.
