The acceleration of technology in Indonesia in recent years has become the focus of business agility planning in manufacturing. Not only a planned and efficient scheme, it also requires professionals who are proficient in designing integrated systems. Through the design of system integration that can connect all functional aspects, the Industrial Engineering study program carries an understanding of industrial processes both from a technical and managerial perspective.
Industrial Engineering adopts a curriculum with a competency-based approach that uses a framework in accordance with the curriculum from DIKTI, IABEE (Indonesian Accreditation Board for Engineering Education) and BKSTI (Badan Kerjasama Penyelenggara Pendidikan Tinggi Teknik Industri Indonesia). At first year, students are provided with basic courses for engineering science, at second year, students are provided with courses that are relevant to the field of Industrial Engineering, while at third year, students are provided with design courses that integrate courses that have been obtained in previous years and at final year, students are provided with elective courses of interest to students as support for Final Project work and honing skills.
In addition to extensive learning disciplines, the Undergraduate Industrial Engineering Study Program includes appropriate use of contributive information and communication technology (ICT) in conducting interdisciplinary engineering activities.
